Step 2: Make the Masala Base

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon stick.
  • Once the spices sizzle, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
